Located in northwestern Lenawee County, Rollin Township is a growing community conveniently located between Adrian and Jackson, Michigan. Total area is 36.19 square miles, with a population of 3,176. Township residents, property owners and visitors live, work and play amidst beautiful farmlands, woods, and lakes. Our rural locale includes the unincorporated areas of Manitou Beach, Addison, and Rollin, the Devils Lake-Round Lake and northern Posey Lake areas, and several smaller lakes. Outstanding school districts of Addison, Hudson, and Onsted serve the community, with Adrian College, Siena Heights University, and Jackson Community College nearby. Several other colleges and universities are within 50 miles, in Jackson, Hillsdale, Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Lansing and Toledo. Local attractions and recreational opportunities include Michigan International Speedway, numerous golf courses, nature preserves, a botanical garden, and many parks. Several hospitals, small airports, an Amtrak station, Interstate Highways 94 and 75, and the Ohio Turnpike are easy to access. A Master Land Use Plan promotes coordinated future development in Rollin Township.
