In 1948 and again in 1955, several of Rollin Township's one room schools were reorganized into the Addison school system. For several years after these dates some of the schools continued to be used before they were finally closed.
District 1: Geneva School (was on the east side of Geneva Hwy. just south of Woerner Rd.; brick school built in 1880's, burned in 1924; rebuilt school was a wooden structure; reorganized into Addison in 1948)

District 3: Quaker School (is now a private home on the north side Quaker Road just west of Rollin Hwy.; original school was a wooden structure across the road; brick school built in 1883; in use until the mid 1950's or early 1960's). NOTE: the brick home on the northwest corner of Quaker Rd. and Rollin Hwy. is believed to have been the location of the first classes taught in the township, by Lucretia Beal.
