Tax Collection Information
Summer property tax statements are mailed from and paid to the Lenawee County Treasurer in Adrian. (Address is listed below.)
Winter tax bills are mailed December 1, 2011. Please examine your tax bill carefully. A penalty exists for claiming a principal residence exemption if you are NOT entitled to the exemption.
The Rollin Township Treasurer’s Department began taking winter tax payments December 1st, 2011. The township offices are open for this purpose from 9:30am until 5pm every Tuesday and Thursday in December, January, and February, and on Wednesday February 29th, 2012.
The last day to pay winter taxes without penalty is February 14, 2012.Winter tax late payments will be charged a 3% penalty. Payments made after February 29th must be sent to the Lenawee County Treasurer’s Office in Adrian.
The last day to pay taxes at the Rollin Township Hall is Thursday, is March 1st between 9:30 a.m and 1:00 p.m.. Normal treasurer office hours will resume on Tuesday, March 1st: 2:30-6 pm on Tuesdays and 9:30 am - 1 pm on Thursdays.
Beginning March 1, 2011, tax payments must be made to the Lenawee County Treasurer. They need to be mailed directly to:

(Note: Payments for Dog Licenses and Winter Taxes must be made with separate checks.)
Beginning December 2, 2011 through February 13, 2012, United Bank & Trust (UBT, Devils Lake branch only) will accept tax payments during their regular business hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. In order for UBT to accept your payment, you MUST have your tax coupon AND your payment must be for the full amount. Partial payments were NOT accepted at the bank.
As always, your payment may be left with the Clerk or in the drop box on the East side of the Rollin Township Hall. However, only the Treasurer’s Department will be able to receipt your payment. Kindly leave a self-addressed stamped envelope, if you would like a receipt mailed to you.
