2016 Winter Tax Information

2016 Winter tax bills have been mailed. Tax bills need to be examined carefully. A penalty exists for claiming a principal residence exemption if an exemption is NOT entitled.

The Rollin Township Treasurer's Department will begin taking winter tax payments December 1st, 2016. The township offices will be open for this purpose from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm every Tuesday and Thursday December 2016 through February 2017. To avoid penalty, taxes must be paid by Tuesday, February 14th. Winter tax late payments are charged a 3% penalty. Payments must be made to the Lenawee County Treasurer beginning March 1, 2017.

The last day to pay taxes at the Rollin Township Hall is Tuesday February 28, 2017. Normal treasurer office hours will resume on Thursday, March 2nd: 9:30 am - 1 pm on Thursdays and 2:30-6 pm on Tuesdays.
